This one is P#84e (inset letter B, signature R.N. Malhotra). Since R.N. Malhotra was governor of The Reserve Bank of India from 1985 to 1990 and knowing that 50 Rupees with his signature had only 2 inset letters (A and B)it shoud be fair to consider ND (1987-1990) rather than ND (1985-1990).
